EPISODE REVIEWS

This episode delivers one of the stronger historical segments yet. There's more focus on the featured scientist as an attempt to make them less one dimensional. Pacing is also a bit better than the last few episodes, which was a jarring issue beforehand.

It's nice to have some slice of life side plots besides the time traveling. Thankfully Waka joins for this adventure, it was getting too repetitive with just Mari doing everything. I don't think Faraday's idea of "If you love it you don't need to study it" helps with what Waka's going through, Futa should still stay in school even if he wants to be soccer player. The analogy doesn't even work with his own work besides what we see in the episode.

There are still so many mysteries lingering without any answers. Does time travel really affect the timeline here? Or is it no longer relevant, with the story focusing mainly on the featured scientist? Mari's character is so lighthearted and pure, and I like her more than Waka.
