EPISODE REVIEWS

While weaving scientific concepts with historical adventure is kinda fun, I feel it kinda hesitates to veer into one direction. It's a bit talk-heavy for a simple fun adventure, but it sanitized the historical figures a bit for it to be fully educational. It would benefit of picking a certain demographic to stick to.

This is kind of what I was worried about, I understand they have to show historical figures with the best optics as they're revered for their achievements but having Benjamin Franklin being overly nice to his slaves while trying to flirt with a middle schooler really does not land well no matter how you try to portray it. I still have no idea what the unnamed grey haired guy is up to.

I honestly enjoyed this episode more than the first two. The scientist's story is much lighter and funnier, although I also got a glimpse of the country's dark past. I found the background music soothing, and it complemented the scenes really well.
