Actually, the setup and overall vibe of this episode's narrative share noticeable similarities with the previous arc's setting. However, you can still distinguish the differences beyond just the characters, as the subtle, distinct flow of the plot's depth becomes easier to differentiate over time. Additionally, while the buildup of tension is established in a very similar manner, you can still feel a clear difference in the overall thrill. Nonetheless, this arc presents a much more exciting buildup of intensity which im invested to.

The threads of the second arc begin to intertwine. We have the two political clans vying for the position of Shogun's chief of arms. We have Takato, Iori, and Tsubara, each with their own objectives, but their paths constantly intertwine. This is what makes this arc entertaining: many ambitions. It's a well-paced chapter, tense in a way, and canonical within the story. It keeps you hooked from beginning to end.
