Episode Context

The title says it all. Youki takes his shot and goes on a date with Cecilia, and the episode leans fully into the comedic awkwardness of a former demon trying to act like a normal romantic interest. Expect a lighthearted, low-stakes outing that prioritizes charm over action. The humor draws from the gap between Youki's overpowered demon background and his earnest, fumbling attempts at courtship. Misunderstandings and comedic beats drive most of the runtime, with the romance progressing at a gentle pace rather than rushing toward any dramatic payoff. Character chemistry between Youki and Cecilia is front and center, giving viewers a chance to decide early whether this dynamic has enough pull to carry the season. Tonally warm and breezy, this is a comfort-food episode through and through.
