In episode one, the plot was set in motion. In this episode, you'd finally get a better glimpse of her past. It's exactly the reason why I'd rather adopt Ivy. Adults are...very unreliable and indoctrinated. Especially her father, I must warn you--- brace yourself from the wave of hatred you'll feel for him. It's too realistic as well, so I suppose it's why many, including myself, feel strongly towards this episode. Definitely a must-watch!
Ivy look so clean and happy hurts. It is a beautiful glimpse of her past, but it deeply emotional, and knowing what happens next makes it more cool.
I find this flashback episode is not needed anymore since it was already established by the previous two episodes. Nevertheless it is still a good episode, but you can skip it though.
