As far as isekai goes, this has exceeded my expectations so far, and it is so well made. The pacing was good, and the fight scenes and animation were amazing

He finally meets another person. Honestly the pacing is good, getting to see the journey not just the destination is very refreshing with the scenry and all. Animation is great with the mountain range and all, it's very world building and a glimpse at how OP the MC is through the other persons knowledge of magic.

Ryou finally meets another person, and their interaction is actually fun to watch. The episode slows down a bit, but it helps build the world and sets up what’s coming next. Not much action this time, but it feels like the story is really starting to make progress.

Episode Context

Episode 1 established Ryou's solitary new life in a fantasy world; this second episode breaks that isolation by introducing Abel and setting both characters on a path toward civilization. Their trek toward the town of Lune functions as a narrative bridge, positioning Episode 3 as the point where Ryou begins engaging with broader society. At episode 2 of 12, this is clearly the early foundation phase, building the core relationship that will likely drive much of the season's adventure forward.
