The Town Musicians of Bremen

The anime follows an elderly donkey, worn down by years of service to humans. Recognizing his declining strength, the donkey resolves to travel to Bremen and pursue a career as a town musician. During his journey, he encounters a dog, a cat, and a rooster, each also seeking a better life. United by their shared desire for freedom and a new beginning, the four animals continue their travels together. Their path leads them to a house inhabited by robbers. Through their combined efforts, the animals drive the robbers away, claiming the house as their own and establishing a new home together.
