Better pacing this episode and it's clear there will be a bigger focus on Basara this season. Still some unnecessary scenes here and there, but the plot is intriguing as more characters are getting introduced.
This part really makes me think about the backstory especially since the signs of the enemy are appearing one after another. I also expect that more new enemies from the other world will appear.
I love the have more Basara lore revealed in this episode, and possibly Chisato as well. The demons also begin making their move, raising the stakes. However, I still find the political side of this anime to be the least engaging part. Thankfuly they have the bath scene, at least it's entertaining. Overall, this episode feels like it's setting up the final battle, which is surprising considering it's only the third episode.
