I watched this episode, and it ramps up the action as Xiaoxiu uses his new powers to protect Shen Yao from jealous rivals, setting the stage for his heroic journey while blending romance, tension, and thrilling action. From my side, it's 8.5/10.

Episode Context

Sitting at episode 2 of 12, this installment functions as a critical transition point. Wang Xiaoxiu's ordinary life was upended in the premiere, and now the series begins building the framework for the fantasy conflicts that will define the season. It bridges the origin setup with the larger narrative by establishing how Wang Xiaoxiu relates to his new reality, laying essential groundwork for escalating stakes in the episodes ahead.
