📖 SYNOPSIS

"The Story of Chinese Gods" portrays a conflict rooted in ancient Chinese lore. King Zhou of Shang, corrupted by his concubine Daji, a disguised vixen spirit, rules with cruelty, prompting rebellion. Ji Fa, later known as King Wu of Zhou, leads the resistance, advised by the strategist Jiang Ziya. The ensuing war between Shang and Zhou involves not only human armies but also a host of supernatural entities. Deities, immortals, demons, spirits, and humans with magical abilities join the fray, fighting for their respective sides. Yuanshi Tianzun empowers Jiang Ziya with the Fengshen Bang, a list that will determine the future gods of Heaven. The narrative explores themes of tyranny, rebellion, good versus evil, and the elevation of heroes to divine status.
