I like this episode, and would recommend others not the skip this funny, yet insightful episode. Don't leave just yet, stick around for the end credits you might get a surprise waiting at the end. I don't know about fabricating an entire lie just to have better relations with human settlements is a wise. If anything wouldn't the emergence of good monsters defeating evil monster make a better story to sell, and is factual using your friendship with human adventurers would greatly sell your friendly towards humans. It is just a thought!

Didn't think the series firecracker would make an appearance, then again why wouldn't she, she is an unpredictable sort. The flow of the animation is so beautiful to watch, and the music used for each scene just seems right for the occasion. The Somber moment between Rimuru, and Milim parallels the real life and how precious the bonds we make are and how fragile they can be. We should do what we can to protect those bonds, and to cherish these bonds we have.

It's a decent episode to unwind to, and to take your mind off the pressures of this world. The atmosphere is inviting and slow paced so you can take it all in. I understand its played for laughs at times but Rimuru's been living in this world for some time now. He should know the type of flora and fauna that lives in this world by now does not always match up with his previous world, like when he went bug catching with Gobta and the others. The Summer Festival looked like an authentic Japanese one, Rimuru must have a great memory to remember everything down to the last detail. I sweet reminder to cherish the memories you've made with others along the way.

So we open up the episode with a beach scene, even though They are nowhere near the ocean they found a big ole lake instead. Rimuru made sure to bring the ladies and not just anyone but Shion, Shuna, and Souka were the picks. Can't have the monster men mucking it up. Gobta was there but only to provide comic relief and act as the punching bag for Rimuru and the girls. The art is nice, and the animation is also nice to look at. The crashing waves, the character interacting with the environment and the fireflies were a nice touch. The fish the old man caught however was not consistent with what was shown. Even when he caught it, it was several times bigger so you can't say it was a different one. Three times it appeared, and for three times it changed color and size. It was much smaller to the point its head could fit in a pot.

Summer is a great time to unwind, it's just a little difficult to do when you are too busy trying to beat the heat, which our protagonists soon find out. Our main man Benimaru can't catch a break it seems in this spin off he is regulated to being punchline for every joke or perhaps punching bag. The ending was beautiful with the added backstory of Rimuru's life before becoming a slime. The way the goblin kids are portrayed makes them look like bobble head figures and one of them reminds me of those old trolls.
