wholesome banger episode !!! This might be one of the best episodes I’ve ever watched. It has everything — horror, comedy drama — all packed into one story with the whole family involved. The mix of emotions keeps it entertaining from start to finish,

the first half of the episode feels very dry, compared to the tennis drama, anyway the animation is honestly amazing I wish this studio would animate some action animes as well..

More tame plot comparing last episode, but in the other hand looks like there will be more drama coming from Ouka for the next episode

Episode Context

A cooldown episode that trades the energy of recent events for quiet introspection. Episode 8 leans into the emotional aftermath, giving characters like Minami and Ouka room to sit with their feelings rather than rush past them. The pacing is deliberately slower, this is Doga Kobo letting the romance breathe instead of pushing plot forward. Expect candid conversations, particularly between Ouka and Kotono, that peel back layers of complicated sibling-adjacent emotions. Minami's growing self-awareness anchors much of the episode's emotional weight. The humor is still present but muted, woven naturally into character interactions rather than driving scenes. It's a reflective, character-driven entry that rewards patience. If you've been invested in the tangled feelings within the Shiunji household, this episode deepens those threads without resolving them.
