Love War’ lays the foundation here. Arata is so confused and blushing throughout this 12-episode anime, but the real plot starts here. This is a wholesome episode.

Overall it's a good anime to watch, and i really wanted the dog arc for a change, well, we might still get that chance in the next season..

Episode Context

The Shiunji Family Children closes out its first season with a quiet, character-driven finale that trades big dramatic swings for something more intimate. Set against a riverside barbecue in Oku-Karuizawa, the episode leans into the reflective side of its ensemble cast. Expect Doga Kobo's signature warmth here, comedy is present but takes a back seat to the emotional undercurrents running between the siblings. Arata and Ouka's dynamic shifts into more charged territory, Minami carries a restless energy that suggests unspoken feelings, and Banri's usual playful exterior cracks just enough to reveal genuine sincerity. The pacing is deliberately unhurried, giving each character room to breathe. It's a contemplative sendoff that prioritizes emotional texture over resolution, landing as a mood piece about family, closeness, and the things left unsaid.
