Episode Context

Sitting at the season's early-middle stretch, this episode follows the Sins' arrival at the Druids' Holy Land and Meliodas's decision to undergo their trial to reclaim his sealed power. It's the emotional core of the power recovery arc, bridging the setup of the Druid encounters with the broader team preparations in the episodes ahead. What Meliodas confronts here directly feeds into the group's readiness, both physically and emotionally, for the escalating Commandment threats that define the season's back half.
