The Royal Tutor Movie

The animation was visually stunning, with great character designs and settings. You don't need much knowledge of the main series to enjoy it, as it works well as a standalone story. An entertaining watch with palace intrigue and a good dose of humor.

I missed them but I didn't know it had a sequel movie. It's not bad. Because the story was cramped into a movie, it felt rushed. It could've delved into the new characters from Romano more and then the relationship building between the princes and with Haine could have played out better.

It's raining beautiful men~ The art style makes the princes look so majestic it's so pleasing in the eyes. And I'm really a sucker for heartfelt family affairs. (T^T) The Romano siblings need to be cherished and patted on the head for a job well done! <3 Same goes to Grannzreich siblings. <3 I haven't watch the series of it yet but despite that fact, I still enjoy the whole movie. That's just how comforting this is. Now I gotta watch the series~ (/-- 0--)/

If the aim of this movie is to make the audience feel relaxed and comfortable, it mostly succeeded in its objective. While the presence of drama in the royal court is undeniable because of the issues involving our characters, everything is pretty much resolved in a manner you would expect from an anime of this genre. And yeah, the story can sound as generic as can be, but with a cast this likable, you might enjoy the film much more than you thought you would. Nice artwork, animations, and soundtrack also helps complement the narrative. And funny moments breaks th monotony every once in a while. This film was presumably made for fans of the original series, yet it doesn't mean newcomers can't enjoy it as well if that's their cup of tea.
