Minato inviting all his friends to a concert Momoka clearly meant as a date and then being genuinely confused when Yota asks about Kuriki is so funny and so painful. Man has no idea he is standing in the middle of three separate emotional disasters. And then he calls Koyuki just a friend to her face basically while she is two feet away behind a booth. The episode is basically four kids all hiding their real feelings and the only one who says anything honest the whole time is Momoka which is why half the fandom hates her now

This was slower than I wanted for a premiere. A lot of standing around being awkward and not saying things. I get it is the point but it dragged in the middle for me

Yota keeps a straight face the whole conversation about love while Koyuki is sobbing and that scares me more than the crying does
