Episode Context

As the first of only two episodes in this special, it launches a self-contained Summer Vacation arc set after the conclusion of the main series, meaning all prior romantic and dramatic developments are already resolved. This opening half establishes the emotional groundwork, the quintuplets' individual introspection and their evolving dynamic with Fuutarou, that Part 2 will continue to build on and bring to a close.
