The pacing for this episode feels heavy as the trio brainstorms a way to prevent Norman's "adoption". While I had a bit of laugh at Emma's uncomon suggestions, the situation really couldn't be alleviated by jokes or the lighter moments in between. NGL, I was kinda disappointed with how it ended, but I'm willing to see the next episode to see what's actually up.

This episode was peak suspense and thrill mixed into one. The series really does a good job of giving a bright hope, just to literally give us the most insane twist and shatters them into pieces😭 it’s diabolical at this point. Although the soundtrack for each scene really boosted the vibe and atmosphere! So hats off to to that✨

The trio—Emma, Norman, Ray—feel more fragile here, like the pressure is finally getting to them. You also get small hints about Ray that add depth without fully spelling things out.
