Episode Context

Sitting at the midpoint of the full 178-episode run, this episode lands directly after the high-intensity 'Finishing Smash' in Episode 97, serving as a deliberate cooldown before the narrative shifts gears. Episode 99, 'The Cursed Racket,' introduces a more mysterious tone, making this comedic interlude the calm before a tonal pivot. It reinforces team bonds that will matter as Seigaku faces increasingly difficult challenges ahead.
