Episode Context

Positioned roughly three-quarters through the series, Episode 132 lands after the pivotal Ryoma vs. Sanada showdown and the early Nationals buildup, serving as a deliberate comedic breather before the tournament intensity ramps back up. Despite being labeled canon, this episode contributes nothing to the competitive storyline and functions as a palate cleanser between high-stakes arcs. The upcoming episodes will return to Nationals action, making this one of the last pure comedy breaks before the series drives toward its endgame.
