Episode Context

Sitting roughly 70% through the series' 178-episode run, this episode is the heated middle chapter of the Ryouma vs. Sanada clash that kicked off in the previous episode, 'Clash! Ryoma vs. Sanada.' It deepens the rivalry by raising the technical and emotional stakes before feeding directly into the resolution episode, 'Conclusion ~ Which One will Win?' This stretch represents one of the season's marquee matchups, and Episode 127 is the pressure-cooker moment before the verdict drops.
