EPISODE REVIEWS

It slows down from the nonstop matches, but the character interactions give it a more heartfelt feel without becoming too corny. Ryoma's internal conflict is handled well enough that the episode feels important instead of filler. The quieter moments are a nice reset before things get wild again, haha.

This episode highlights the bonds between teammates, showing how trust, friendship, and shared experiences influence their decisions both on and off the court.

Most of Ryoma's scenes were the highlight of this episode for me because it showed various moments how impacted he felt from the revelations from episode eight. There were some bittersweet moments when he was interacting with the U.S. team that I really enjoyed. Although the pacing did feel a little slow in some scenes, the wholesome and emotional moments made the episode entertaining to watch.
