EPISODE REVIEWS

This is the series at maximum absurd sports-anime mode, and I mean that as a compliment. Every match has a different flavor, so the episode moves quickly even with all the wild techniques flying around. Some of it is straight-up ridiculous haha, but that has always been the appeal.

The matches feel more intense because every opponent is portrayed as a legitimate threat rather than just another obstacle. The teamwork and strategies on display make the competition more exciting and less predictable.

Tsukimitsu was easily the highlight of this episode for me. I enjoyed watching what he did in his match. His actions kept me invested to see more of his abilities. I also liked that the episode featured several different matches. I enjoyed watching each opposing player showcase their unique abilities. I found J.J. Dolgias's scene something that surprised me since his behavior was quite unexpected compared to what he did to Keigo in the previous episode.
