I liked how it balanced lighthearted moments with the growing tension between Kal-el and Claire. Their relationship finally felt like it reached a turning point, and the quiet scenes between them were honestly my favorite part. The soundtrack deserves a lot of credit too. It knew when to stay quiet and when to make a scene hit harder without becoming overwhelming.

The episode makes you feel relaxed beachside, full of beautiful and fun comedic relief, with a cliffhanger ending. also " a calm before the storm" feelings when watching the episode.

Romance and guilt collide beautifully here. Claire’s hidden pain adds so much depth, and the final reveal shifts the entire atmosphere instantly.
