I really like what this episode is trying to say. It’s never too late to pursue your dreams! That said, the story and pacing of this episode are just perfect. It started and ended in a way that sets up the next episode very cleanly. To nitpick, though, the animation and visuals in this episode aren’t as impressive. To be fair, the battle was pretty mediocre.

The story slows down to look back at Rick's past. It has a quieter pace and gave his journey more emotional weight. Rick is a genuinely likable protagonist.

Great episode right here. The way they introduced the MC's past is quite great. A lot of emotions, and now we finally know how he got stronger. The fighting scenes here are intense, and the pacing is just right. Love how courageous the MC is here. Definitely worth watching this episode.
