I wasn't expecting a breather episode, but it worked. The comedy actually lands, the character feels more natural around each other, and the quieter moments quietly build intrigue in the background. It's lighter than usual, but it still gives you reasons to keep watching.

Episode Context

A deliberate cooldown episode that trades the usual mystery and tension for comedy and character bonding. The cast gets access to the Genome Tower's open-air bath, and the result is exactly what you'd expect, lighthearted banter, bath-time antics, and a heavier dose of fanservice than the series typically delivers. The pacing is relaxed and slice-of-life adjacent, letting the ensemble bounce off each other without the pressure of a life-or-death challenge looming overhead. If you're here strictly for the mystery of Paca and the Genome Tower's true purpose, this episode won't move that needle much. But it does quietly deepen the group's dynamics, showing how these characters have grown closer through shared danger. Think of it as a palate cleanser, entertaining if you're invested in the cast, skippable if you're not.
