Lay and Misa are the MVPs in this episode! That "big brain" tactical move during their fight is exactly why I love these two. The pacing is frantic, and the stakes feel legitimately high for once.

I love the animation in the combat scenes! The colors and the glow they add to the magical abilities look amazing. The plot in this episode is completely driven by pride and determination.
