The Many Sides of Voice Actor Radio

Okay, I take back what I said on my episode 1 review. While I still think the art is so much better in the manga and the pacing feels rushed at times, I actually really enjoyed this anime. It was nice. The finale was good and I like how obvious the development between our main duo is. I wish there was more yuri in this but beggars can't be choosers. 😭 I'm going to miss how colorful and lovable the characters were.

It seems we're back to the serious side of Yumiko's character arc and it gets intense, especially with all the pressure she's been under. It's just hard to see her struggle so much so I'm hoping she catches a break and does really well. The finale is coming and I'm wondering how they're going to pull this off. It's too rushed. 😭

That was so much fun! It felt like your typical seiyuu program that I used to watch a lot. It's so nice to see them bond. Otome's so wholesome, it's cute. 🤣 This was honestly a nice change of pace.

Throughout the anime, you can really see how much Yumiko struggles with her career and talent. It's that tough reality of working hard while some people are just born talented. I appreciate how relatable this is and how it's probably something up-and-coming voice actors go through in real life, too. I liked the parts where they just celebrated Christmas and hung out together, too. This was fun.

This is so realistic—like, what do you mean some people got mad at the others who tried to expose the stalkers? 😭 But anyway, I'm glad we moved on from that and there's more to the story. The girls are continuing their seiyuu journey and I'm excited for more. Watching them do voice acting in the studio was cool.

Hmm. This episode was a mix of drama and comedy. I'm a bit confused how they handled Mekuru's character and some scenes just annoyed me while making me want to laugh at the same time. What I liked is how the voice actresses try to navigate their relationship with fans. It's pretty realistic. Being a celebrity must be so draining. 😭

As usual, Yumiko is meddling in people's business again, but I guess that's what makes her lovable. 😭 She's so empathetic and always chooses to see the good in others despite her insecurities, and I respect that. This was a pretty real and intense episode. I hope things work out for the two. Love Yumiko's mom.

Why is Yasumi's manager kinda...? 🤭 Anyway, the start of the episode made me anxious. 😭 We also meet a new face and she's... interesting? This also deals with the aftermath of what happened last episode.

This episode got serious real quick. 😭 The show deals with themes that happen in real life as well, especially when it comes to women in industries like this. I appreciate how they tackle some serious stuff too. Yasumi is such a great friend. 🤣

Two voice actresses sitting in a hot tub, five feet apart cause they're not gay? 😭 Loved how yuri this episode was. I still don't know how far they'll take this but I like it. There's lots of development between the two and also some drama. Unnecessary "fanservice" again but it's whatever.

I'm actually pretty excited about this despite my last review. 🤣 I know Itou Miku and Toyota Moe voice the two girls and it just makes so much sense. If you know, you know. I was also a fan of seiyuus back in the day so this is an interesting concept. Anyway, about the episode. It seems that the two are starting to develop a better relationship with each other and I actually liked the funny scenes. This was actually fun to watch.

How did I spend years not knowing they made an anime adaptation of this? 😭 I used to read the manga and always thought it was yuri? I don't know. Anyway, the first episode is fine. It honestly seems pretty low budget which I guess makes sense now why I didn't know about it. The manga has really good art. Other than that, I think it introduced the two main girls pretty fine. Their dynamic is interesting.

Kudos to Yasumi's voice actor, it must've been hard to play a character that's also a voice actor. And on top of that having to play a voice actor having to give the performance of a lifetime! The final episode was a little bit uneventful, but I liked that Yasumi and Yuhi's banter continued right until the end.

These last few episodes have been very Yasumi focussed, but it looks like Yuhi will play a big role in the finale. I feel bad for Yasumi, she's under so much pressure. Hopefully everything will work out for her.

A slower episode, but it was nice to see the girls bond and become closer. I like that this anime doesn't just focus on Yuhi and Yasumi's relationship, but their friendships with the other girls too.

A cozy Christmas epiosde. We get to see Yuhi and Yasumi be normal teenagers with their classmates.

I enjoyed seeing all of the voice actors working. This anime puts a lot of effort into showing how the industry works. I wish we got to see more of Yasumi's friend Wakana , she's so sweet and supportive.

This episode touches on the parasocial relationships that idols have to deal with. It's crazy that they have to apologize for their real personalities.

The finale delivers an emotional payoff that completely redefines Chika and Yumiko's dynamic.
