Episode Context

Positioned as the critical bridge between the violent political coup of episodes 1-2 and Chang Ge's larger quest for vengeance, this third episode handles the essential transition from hunted princess to cunning fugitive. It establishes her new identity and survival methodology, laying the strategic foundation that will define her approach throughout the remaining thirteen episodes. Without this grounding chapter, her later evolution into a rogue military strategist would lack the psychological weight the series is building toward.
