Episode Context

Episode 5 pushed the Karlos scheme and vampire faction threat to a head, forcing Arnold and Leonard into uncomfortable visibility. Episode 6 processes those consequences and steers the twins toward a new imperial obligation that stretches the succession conflict well beyond the tournament arena, widening the board heading into the season's second half. What gets established here looks set to define the political stakes for the episodes that follow.
