Idolmaster, being so bright and cheerful most of the time can make us feel that everything is sunshine and rainbows, but the reality of the industry is different. While this is not the type of anime to show us how the idol world truly is in real life, a bit of it ends up being brushed up every now and then and this episode is a bit of that. Using the pretext of a fun sport event, we are reminded that there is competition, rivalry, schemes but in true Idolmaster fashion, our girls don’t let any of that get to them. In the end, sunshine and rainbows may not the reality of the idol as whole but it is a good description for the girls at 765 Pro.

Really fun sports episode with just enough drama to keep it interesting. Makoto is absolutely the MVP, and somehow gets all the girls again. The drawings and animation looked especially good here, and the ending theme "GO MY WAY!!" was such a nice touch.

all these different talent agencies get together for one big sports competition hahahahahhh and watching the idols compete in random games is exactly as chaotic and entertaining as it sounds. fun crossover energy with other groups too.
