the reflective episode before the final push and it uses Jupiter brilliantly. watching these three men who have been through so much — the height of industry success, the fall from grace, the long climb back — look at these newer idols and remember what it felt like to be at the beginning is genuinely moving. Touma reflecting on the gap between his past self and who he is now carries real weight because the prologue episode gave us the context to understand what he went through. the parallel between Jupiter's mentorship and their own memories is drawn subtly rather than hammered home, which is the right call. the concert preparations intensifying adds urgency while the reflective tone keeps things grounded. an unexpectedly deep episode.
