the training camp episode is the show at its most purely ensemble and it's a blast. getting all the 315 Production idols together in one place to prepare for the joint concert naturally creates cross-unit dynamics the show hasn't had space for before and every interaction lands. Jupiter mentoring the newer units is particularly good — watching Touma's competitive fire bump up against the more relaxed energy of some of the other groups creates genuine comedy. the beach setting keeps everything light while the underlying purpose — everyone working on their weaknesses, everyone pushing each other — gives it actual stakes. Kaoru's quiet subplot about something he's been keeping to himself starts seeding here and it adds a nice thread of tension underneath the fun. the best ensemble episode the show has done.
