Oh, what a leap from the first episode. The story is getting better at tackling the complexities of teenage friendships and it was good to see Youto take the time to understand Tsukiko, now that she can’t express her emotions through facial expressions, which makes her hard to read. This shifts the tone of the series from a story about a perverted teenage boy to one about dealing with puberty, friendship, and emotional intelligence. I also loved how we got to see another side of Azuki, which suggests that she might be living a double life and not be who she pretends to be.
