Episode 5 is where the anime collapses under its own weight. The writing is incoherent, the animation is weak, and the protagonist remains as interesting as a brick wall. The episode tries to deliver a dramatic rescue and a major villain confrontation, but it fails at both because it hasn't earned either. If you were hoping this show would improve after the disaster of Episode 4, this episode confirms it won't. It's not just generic—it's poorly made. There's a difference between a show that plays it safe and a show that doesn't know how to tell a story, and this episode falls firmly into the latter category.

They packed a major storyline into one episode...? Anyway I'm glad seeing the MC is overpower, and his old appearance as a demon king is handsome too.
