I think this is heading toward what will happen to Yamaguchi’s teaching career from this point on. From the very beginning, this was really what we were expecting and looking forward to in the plot. And now, here it is, the moment we’ve been dreading has finally arrived.
I think this is the first time we saw a serious Yankumi. We can really see how deep her care for her students is, and how far she's willing to do things just to protect them. We're finally able to see more Yankumi-Shin interactions, and it's surprisingly not getting explored as much as it did in the live action.
I like the development that they did in this episode, especially on Shin's character. I feel like this is a necessary wake up call for him and his way of thinking. As for Kumiko, she's as awesome as ever. And the way she handled the problem was so brave of her.
