EPISODE REVIEWS

Episode Context

As episode 1 of 13, this is purely foundation, assembling the core trio and establishing the God of High School tournament as the central narrative engine. The breakneck pacing here is deliberate, prioritizing spectacle to draw viewers in before subsequent episodes begin layering in character motivations and the tournament's deeper mysteries. Everything introduced here, the fighters, the mysterious organizers, and the tournament's stakes, escalates rapidly across the compact single-cour run.
