While there seems to be a pattern in each girl’s arc, there’s still an added variable that gives each episode/arc a twist. What saddened me is that this girl’s development didn’t impact me as much as the first girl’s did. It could’ve worked better as a three-episode arc, felt rushed to me.
Honestly, the narrative structure is feeling a bit too predictable right now. Even though the touch of CGI looks incredibly great and makes the animation exciting to watch, the buildup I expected quickly became formulaic. However, I am still hoping for some unexpected plot twists in future episodes.
This episode continued the wild west theme from the previous episode. I was impressed until they started showing technological advances that were invented long after that time period. I also didn't understand why they didn't make the newly added Equalizer help in the fight if she already has the capacity to. They literally made her a bystander. What a waste of fighting potential.
