Genuinely, such a great watch. I’ve mentioned before that action scenes are this anime’s strongest point, but being able to deliver such heavy and meaningful message without relying on them shows how passionate the staffs were about this project. I also liked how the ending focused more on the MC rather than the girls as a whole, it made the conclusion more personal and special in a way. It may not have answered all my questions, but the ending still felt satisfying. Gonna miss these girls!
I honestly did not expect a conclusion that is simultaneously heartbreaking and heartwarming. The true turning point of this series is its realistic dynamic of profound emotion, specifically how characters use coping mechanisms after heavy circumstances. This unexpected depth left me feeling incredibly emotional as I grasped the full weight of the dialogue. Ultimately, I now deeply appreciate the overarching metaphor of this entire series.
This ending is so good 😭😭😭 I was half-expecting it to be rushed since they only left 1 episode, so there was no possible room for a good denouement, but this show is GIVING! I love it. The honesty of being cruel, and punishing yourself for being unconsciously cruel is such a real take. This anime truly truly exceeded my expectations! I thought it would be half-baked since it was supposed to be just a project to celebrate Animax's 20th year anniversary, but it's actually really good! I'm glad to have discovered this anime, and I hope other people would also give it a chance.
