What an introduction to the series! We already got a good gist of the world setting. The visuals are really pretty, and the fight scene was well-choreographed enough to make me look forward to the next ones. I'm curious to see how they'll tackle the multiverse concept since it's usually a tricky one to execute.
To say that I don't understand what's going on is an understatement. I thought that maybe they're just a bunch of chunibyos, but to see something actually going on is surprising. The animation is inconsistent, the fight scenes are CGI, which you would've thought they could at least put an effort into the normal animation. But no. The seiyuu cast is star-studded , but I hope the material will pull them through.
Visually, this episode is great with its vibrant settings and incredible animation choices. However, I have to admit the storyline did not quite hit the mark for me as of now. The contrast between the slow pacing, the shenanigans, and the intensity made it a bit hard to fully enjoy the narrative. But since it is just the first episode, I am hoping the story progress will hook me later on.
