Another wholesome episode. It was a refreshing mood of the plot that tackled the backstory and present relationships. Loved the vibe, the liveliness of the group, and a very supportive mom. The tone was emotional but in a positive way. The emotions were heartfelt and warm, too.

I love seeing the confidence slowly build in Rintaro as he continues to open up to Kaoruko and friends. Don’t worry Mama Tsumugi, I felt it too when hearing Rintaro reflect on his past. Seeing them all comfort him, understand and accept one another made this episode impeccable!

To a kid who once gave up on everything, a small gesture like a simple yes to a somewhat whimsical wish can become something big. Having his friends over on his house for the first time in his life, Rintaro is asked a simple question: Why he died his hair and put a piercing?

This episode really leans into perception vs reality, showing emotional nuance in a subtle way. It feels wholesome despite the delinquent look, with a gentle, sincere tone. Even the smallest interactions hit hard, carrying a surprising amount of emotional weight.

This was a very touching episode for me. Seeing someone who has built walls around themselves, which gradually thin as they begin to experience genuine trust and assurance, is an authentic validation of true character development. These moments are deeply moving.

Learning why Rintaro looks the way he does completely changed how I see him. Kyoko quietly doing the most in this episode destroyed me a little.

How does this anime keep hitting so emotionally every time? The story is always warm and comforting. The friendships and family support are so wholesome! If I were Rintaro’s mom, I’d be really touched seeing his growth and the good friends around him.

Honestly it was truly heartbreaking to know the backstory and loved the family goals and how his mother supported him in every phase truly touching. It is nicely directly as they include all the aspects of life and everyone's struggle to survive.

The episode 9 made me cry. This episode covers a lot of topics including friendships and unconditional love of our parents. I love how this anime is well written because they not just focused on romance, they also include what is the real meaning of "Family"
