okay so the opening arc closes here and the payoff hits well ngl. the resolution is clever and the kind of thing where you either completely get it or you missed a clue somewhere. strong first arc closer. must watch obviously then go straight into the next one dude fr.

This episode brings the case to a satisfying conclusion, revealing the culprit's backstory, motive, and plan. Although I sympathized with the hardships the culprit have endured, but that still doesn't justify taking someone's life. As the first case of the season, the mystery was fairly approachable. It feels intentionally designed to ease viewers back into the series and build their confidence before introducing more demanding mysteries 😅

The lore was enjoyable and it's not boring. It's kinda dialogue heavy coz I think almost half of it was about the backstory. But not gonna lie I got goosebumps because of Ran's mother. I'm probably not gonna be sane If I were her.
