As the title indicates, the setting has been moved to Hong Kong. Although this observation isn't directly related to the case itself, the visual presentation feels inconsistent. The setting evokes a strong 90s atmosphere but the modern fashion and smartphones create a noticeable contrast. Whether deliberate or not, I found the contrast distracting. The character designs haven't changed much from the original, though they have been updated with a more modern look.
