If you're in into titles like Attack on Titan, this anime is for you, this anime features The quest to find the secrets of the soul, it is easily one of the best wriiten movies, would kill it as a series. The animation style and choice of music gives it an emotional impact and insane cinematics.

I think The Empire of Corpses is a very impressive anime, especially considering that it was released in 2015. Its ideas feel ahead of their time. Before this, I usually thought of zombies only as part of disaster stories, but this anime shows how corpse technology can be used to develop industry and even support warfare, which is very fascinating.

Also, you must watch until the end because after the credits, there is a short scene about their future, which makes you want to clap your hands.

To be completely honest, the art is amazing and it has a cool, dark vibe, but it’s so hard to finish. It starts off great, but then it becomes nothing but dialogue. Honestly, I wanted to fast-forward through almost the whole thing. The only things that make it bearable are the tactical survival moments and peak fight scenes.

I enjoyed the dark steampunk atmosphere and the philosophical themes about life and death.
