Episode Context

Episode 7 follows the revelations of 'John Smith' in Episode 6, where that persona's true power was put on full display, now the fallout reshapes the Lawless City's power dynamics. Sitting at the season's midpoint pivot, this episode escalates the Corporate Alliance conflict and positions Shadow Garden's counter-strategy as a central thread. It directly sets the stage for Episode 8, 'The Dragon's Tears,' where the consequences of these mounting tensions promise to hit harder.
