Epic finale delivers spectacularly! Large-scale battle impressing visually. Shadow Garden revealed. Ragnarok appearing intimidatingly. Mysterious ending shocking completely.

It’s rare for a comedy-parody to actually land a serious emotional punch, but seeing Rose finally take her throne while Akane appeared in the post-credits gave me chills. It felt like a 32-episode long-con finally paying off.

It delivers a massive, satisfying climax. pacing lands the big payoffs without rushing. Animation goes all out on the highest scale battles and shadow effects. He just one shots everyone at this point huh lol, Tone mixes triumphant comedy, action, and setup for more.

the finale was pure chaos. the animation during the final fight was insane, and the way they handled the ending? peak shadow energy. the voice acting during the emotional beats hit different. can't wait for next season. 🔥

The I Am Atomic finish on Mordred was peak Shadow, but that world-bending twist at the end stole the show. Seeing Cid sucked into a dystopian Japan and reuniting with Akane just as the OG credits hit gave me actual goosebumps. What a way to end the season.

EPISODE CONTEXT

As Episode 12 of 12, "Highest" is the definitive conclusion to Season 2, directly following the high-tension setup of Episode 11 "Determination" where Princess Rose's storyline reached a critical breaking point. This finale pulls together the season's scattered plot threads — political intrigue, Shadow Garden's operations, and Cid's perpetual double life — into a single climactic resolution. While it caps the current arc, the episode also clearly positions the franchise for future continuation.
