This episode moves from one case straight into another. The case is a little more dialogue heavy this time but the emotional ending gives it some extra weight. I really liked seeing Reiko's vulnerable side come out. And Kageyama's savage commentary keeps things comedic.

Episode Context

As the second of twelve episodes, this installment establishes the series' two-part case structure while continuing to develop the comedic dynamic between Reiko, Kageyama, and Kazamatsuri that the premiere introduced.
