Episode Context

Coming off the traumatic escalation of Episode 3, where Jun's personal life was directly threatened, 'Seed' functions as a necessary decompression point that deepens her psychological profile and her fraught relationship with Lan Asuka. At four episodes into a 26-episode run, the series is still building its foundation, establishing Jun's emotional limits and her uneasy role within the Human Alliance. This episode plants seeds for new adversaries and the evolution of Jun's abilities that will drive upcoming confrontations.
