This episode felt more like a gag or filler episode, as nothing really happened to advance the plot or provide any significant new information. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed it because of its comedic aspects.

Episode Context

Episode 4 pivots hard into comedy territory, trading the heartfelt problem-solving of earlier episodes for pure competitive energy. Youta gets thrown into a mahjong tournament completely out of his depth, with Hina calling the shots in her characteristically bold and cryptic fashion. The result is one of the show's most lighthearted entries so far, fast-paced, absurd, and built almost entirely around the comedic friction between Youta's inexperience and Hina's unshakable confidence. P.A. Works leans into expressive animation and snappy timing to sell the gags. Don't expect major dramatic weight here; this is a breather episode designed to deepen the Youta-Hina dynamic through shared chaos rather than emotional stakes. For a twelve-episode series that's building toward something heavier, this playful energy feels intentional and earned.
