This episode gives a sneak peek into what it's really like to be a manga artist and how difficult the path to becoming a professional can be. I admire Ashisu's determination to never give up on her dream, and Aito—despite not wanting her to leave her position as his assistant—still genuinely rooted for her. Their little interaction as a manga creator and assistant was wholesome until Aito ruined the moment with one of his nonsensical ideas. 😆

Sitting at the near-exact midpoint of the 12-episode run, Episode 5 deepens the ensemble dynamic established across the first four episodes without introducing major new characters or shifting the formula. It builds on Episode 4's expanded cast interactions by putting existing relationships through fresh comedic scenarios, reinforcing character quirks that will continue to pay off in the back half of the season.
